Job Description:
Pinnacloud is seeking a talented and experienced Cyber Security Instructor to join our team. As a Cyber Security Instructor, you will play a crucial role in educating individuals or groups on various aspects of cybersecurity, including but not limited to threat detection, incident response, ethical hacking, and security best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive training curricula covering a wide range of cybersecurity topics, tailored to different skill levels and backgrounds.
- Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions through lectures, hands-on labs, workshops, and simulations.
- Customize training materials to meet the specific needs and goals of diverse learners, including professionals seeking certification preparation or career advancement.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to students throughout their learning journey, fostering a supportive and collaborative learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, threats, and technologies in cybersecurity, incorporating relevant updates into training content and delivery.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry professionals to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Assess student progress and performance through assignments, projects, quizzes, and practical assessments.
- Offer constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their understanding and application of cybersecurity concepts.
- Assist students in developing practical skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and other cybersecurity techniques.
- Support students in preparing for industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of virtual lab environments and cybersecurity tools for hands-on training exercises.
- Participate in marketing and promotional activities to attract prospective students and promote the cybersecurity training programs offered by Pinnacloud.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions, student attendance, and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Advanced degrees and industry certifications are advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience working in cybersecurity roles, such as security analyst, incident responder, penetration tester, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, methodologies, tools, and technologies, including network security, cryptography, access control, etc.
- Strong proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, etc.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience in designing and delivering technical training programs or workshops is preferred.
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated with emerging threats and security trends.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), CompTIA Security+, etc., are highly desirable
